Using cPanel Site Publisher to build website easily

cPanel’s Site Publisher is a fantastic tool to create a quick, professional-looking website. It can design any type of single-page website in just a few simple steps. Also, you don’t need to be a coding expert to get started.

Thus, you can create a clean site without any complex website builders or content management systems.

Also, cPanel has a user-friendly interface and an easy-to-follow process. So, it makes it incredibly simple to set up your site.

This article will provide a guide on using Site Publisher to create a website.

How to Create a Website with cPanel Site Publisher

Let’s go through the simple steps –

  • Firstly, log in to your cPanel account. You will land on your cPanel dashboard after you enter your username and password.
  • After logging in, look for the “Domains” section on the home screen. Then, you will find an option called “Site Publisher.” Simply click on it.

Note: Your hosting company may use a different layout. So, you can simply type “Site Publisher” in the cPanel search bar at the top and find it quickly.

  • Now, Site Publisher will show you a list of all your domain names and subdomains. Just click on the one you want to use for this temporary page. Use the search bar to filter the list and find the one you want easily.
  • Once you select your domain, it will move you to the next part automatically.
  • Now, you will see some design templates. These are like basic, ready-made website layouts. Click on one that suits your purpose – for example, you can choose a professional design for your business or a simple under-construction template if your full site is not yet ready.
  • The moment you select the template, cPanel will take you to the next step. This is where you add your own touch. You will see a form with different fields. These could be things like:
  1. Your site title
  2. Your name or company name
  3. Contact details like phone number or email
  4. A short description about you or your business
  5. Social media links (if the template supports them)

Fill in all the details that you want to show on your one-page website. You can leave any field blank if you don’t want that part to appear on the page.

Important: Keep the content short and to the point. This is not a full website, so just put the most essential info.

  • After filling out the form, scroll down and hit the Publish button.

Your one-page website is now live. You can visit your domain in any browser, and you will see your new page right there.

Some Useful Tips and Notes

  • You can update your page anytime using the same steps. Just go back to Site Publisher, select your domain again, and make the changes.
  • You can build a full website using WordPress or another builder; the Site Publisher page will be replaced when you install the new site.
  • Site Publisher is best used for temporary sites. It is not designed for blogs or e-commerce, but it is great for “Coming Soon” pages or showing that your site is active.

So now you know how simple it is to make a small website using cPanel’s Site Publisher. No need to wait, no need to hire someone, and definitely no need to feel stuck. Just log in and publish.
